Have you heard of Rowdy Williams, a man with many names including Ganksta NIP, Ganxsta NIP, and Brother NIP? He is the the Creator of Horrorcore and the Platinum selling writer and performer. Ganxsta NIP is one of hip-hop’s most influential artists.

Before RZA, Gravediggaz, Eminem, Insane Clown Posse, or anyone incorporated horror elements into their rap, there was Ganxsta NIP. The battle between the East Coast and West Coast rappers during the 90's is well documented, but in the middle was Houston, H-Town. Something more sinister and visceral was being developed in the Lone Star State, and Ganxsta NIP was an essential root of this movement. Ganxsta NIP is as fundamental to rap as Alice Cooper is to rock.

1991 marked the release of Ganxsta NIP’s game changing “South Park Psycho” album (Rap-a-lot Records). It was a pivotal point in rap history. No one could foresee the lyrical madness that would ensue as a result of this album.

In the early 90’s, young white America was ready to embrace the darkest depths of underground hip-hop culture. It was a window into a foreign and fascinating culture for many unenlightened, suburban dwelling youth. The success of Ganxsta NIP and his H-Town peers was the rejection letter young Americans sent to Tipper Gore and the PMRC. While Ganxsta NIP's contributions were integral to the success of acts like the Geto Boys, his influence to the genre as a whole is immeasurable.

Bushwick Bill and the Geto Boys were able to skyrocket to stardom and heavy rotation on MTV thanks to NIP's contributions. Ganxsta NIP stayed true to H-town but was destined to be an underground legend on the lips and in the hearts of his loyal legion of followers.

Ganksta NIP's greatest musical achievement to date is his collaboration with the legendary Bushwick Bill which generated the track “Chuckie,” a direct response to Don Mancini's “Child's Play.” The Platinum selling song remains a cult hit to this day. The most sadistic and demented track of of the legendary Geto Boys' career was penned by none other than the the God of Horrorcore, Ganxsta NIP. This song was so vulgar and macabre that youth across North America were grounded for owning it. Bushwick Bill was the greatest conduit one could choose to take NIP's dark and unorthodox writing style to the world. Together they were a tag team from Hell sent to terrorize conservative, suburbanite parents around the globe.

In four minutes or less, every Ganxsta NIP song contains the vivid gore of a two hour long splatter film. Each verse is like an act of a story because Ganxsta NIP is a master storyteller. The man buries infectious hooks from the darkest corners of the human psyche into his songs that confront humor and horrific, lyrical violence. In a perfect world, there would be no need for Ganxsta NIP. For those that live in this imperfect world, Ganxsta NIP is a fundamental dance with death.

Ganxsta NIP has remained prolific throughout his lengthy career which spans thirty years; Ganxsta NIP shows no signs of slowing. He places a mirror in front of the listener and asks the listener to challenge what is and isn't beyond the limits of decency.

Clive Barker's own Candyman will once again terrify audiences in the 2020 release of Jordan Peel’s production of “Candyman.” This leads to NIP’s latest release and Earth Libraries debut “Where is Candyman?” Just as the song “Chuckie” immortalized a cult film and doll, “Where is Candyman?” serves as a tribute to one of the greatest horror figures of the silver screen.

“Where is Candyman?” is an unlikely collaborative effort between NIP and Birmingham, Alabama’s rock musician Dan Sartain. Who is Dan Sartain? He is a lifelong fan of the Creator of Horrorcore who intends to share NIP’s talent with those uneducated. This collaboration has been a long time in the making. Ganxsta Nip and Dan Sartain’s mutual love of the slasher movie genre and “Candyman” in particular sparked the fire to create a single like no one has ever heard before.

Join Ganxsta NIP and Dan Sartain as they take you to a place called Cabrini Green. Be their guest as they escort you through a ghastly world of blood-soaked walls and bonfire summonings. Allow Ganxsta NIP and Dan Sartain to navigate you to the realm of honey soaked delight.

If you don’t believe, play this track five times and see what happens to you.
